Miasma Film House was established and operated by director Doruk C. Çetin, Ercan Sevinç and Doğan Düz providing film production service with an experienced production team and gears.
The company is located both in the heart of Istanbul & Los Angeles, building a cinematographic bridge between two continents.
Doruk C. Çetin
Born and raised in Istanbul, Doruk C. Çetin had produced & directed commercials such as Turkcell, Turkish Airlines, Ülker, Pepsi, Digiturk, Cola Turka and TV Shows like Avrupa Yakası and Komedi Dükkanı under the family company Plato Film.
He is also the nephew of actor & director Muhsin Ertuğrul who had directed the first colored feature film in Turkey, who was the only person directed movies between 1922 - 1939 and who is known as one of the most important contributor to Turkish Cinema and Turkish Theater.
Besides working in Istanbul, he also lived, worked and improved his cinematic vision in Los Angeles and London.
He produced and directed 2 seasons of TV Show titled Extreme-G in CNN Türk Channel, starring Hayko Cepkin.
Started working at Milliyet Newspaper in 2009, Ercan Sevinç continued working as a freelance assistant D.O.P and Technical Animation Supervisor between 2011 to 2014. In 2014 he founded Royal Sight along with Doğan Düz, a technology company focusing on virtual reality and visual advancements in film industry. In 2015 he combined forces with director Doruk C. Çetin and founded Miasma Film.
Through his career before Miasma Film, Ercan Sevinç worked as an Asistant D.O.P in big projects like Çanakale 1915 feature film and a TV show titled Yeni Bir Hayat. He directed corporate films for companies such as, Siemens, Philip MorrisSA, Davidoff, Vestel, Turkcell, GE, ING Bank, Shell, Tuborg TUrkey, Domino's and Directorate General of Coastal Safety. He also worked as a Technical Animation Supervisor in corporate organisations for Fenerbahçe, Tuborg Turkey, HP, GE, Milliyet and Ülker focusing on Video Mapping.
In 2014, he wrote articles about Cinematography and Video Technologies in a monthly magazine titled Macline.
Born and raised in Sivas, Doğaz Düz followed his father's footsteps and became a Certified Public Accountant. He has awarded by the Municipality of Sivas as a “Tax Record Holder and Most Earning Public Accountant” three years in a row, between 2009-2011 along with other awards.
After his time in Sivas, he moved and expanded his accountant work in Istanbul having hundreds of companies under his accounting firm. In 2014 he founded Royal Sight along with Ercan Sevinç. Being interested in film industry he started investing in projects and decided to become a producer along with his accounting title.
In 2015, he partnered with director Doruk C. Çetin and Ercan Sevinç to establish Miasma Film.
He has lovely 7 year old son named Ertuğrul Gazi.
